WAVERLY APPLE JUBILEE
Visit the official State of Missouri Apple Judging Contest and see the finest apples the state has to offer! Enjoy the carnival, parade, free entertainment, the “WORLD FAMOUS” Apple Pan Dowdies Apple Dumpling Booth and Delicious Whole Hog Meals prepared by the Waverly Jaycees. This years Jubilee is to be held on September 17, 18 & 19. Don't forget our Apple Flea Market going on at the market on the 19th. Our biggest days at the market are our apple flea markets! Saturdays, Sept. 19 & 26, Tuesdays, October 6, 13, 20 and 27th! 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.! Utility and Orchard Run apples, bag your own at special prices!
Blazing the Trail Days / Dover Days
Aug 1 - Garage Sales, Antiques, Crafts, Produce Markets, Wines and Festivities from Lexington through Dover to Waverly and just a little beyond since we are on the east end of the map! Many things to see and do in the heart of Missouri Orchard Country! The Dover Lions Club will be sponsoring Children's games, Washer Tournament, Free Live Music in the Dover City Park and Community Building. Aug 1 - Aug 9 - Celebrating the peak of West Central MO's peach harvest but in 2014!!! We will have specials on all peach flavored products like jams, jellies, salsas and cheeseball mixes inside our market. Specials all week long on homegrown peaches and apples.
